you will notice that a vacuum line then runs to your fuel petcock. this "vent" system is powered by a tap you will most likely find located AFTER the carb and right before the intake enters the cylinder head. this will go on to connect to your two way valve that connects to your fuel tank. I would highly suggest keeping this connected as it could be throwing off the vacuum system. it seems as though you disconnected the carb vent tube. Now if you are running your bike the way you have displayed in the photos this is also a consideration:īy looking at the second pic.

Have you tried testing the petcock? and the vacuum going to it? i believe the petcock turns on and off with vacuum. Eventually I plan to remove all the crap. I just cut the tank hose just before the roll over for now. I will probably put a air filter on the open evap line once I solve this problem. do the last chk of the carb and he said all was good. What did you do with your fuel tank over flow vent?.i ran new hose to about 6" off the ground plane.Īnd i completely removed all the evap/roll over 's in a bin with all the other stuff i've removed/ will become my 2nd scooter. you can feel the vacuum with eh engine started to make sure you have done the right thing. i tried the open line with a tiny filter and it ran rougher that leaving it open. from what i can tell, it looks like you have done the correct evap line re config. If you didn't get that far, maybe that's the problem. Sometimes if the diaphragm isn't re installed properly it can cause problems.
